This was a really hard card, felt like a comedy of errors.. I found this card in Harriet's gallery late late last night and thought hey you have tall flowers and vertical friendship sentiments... (not the same stamps but, similar theme ) and thought why not... and then when I got to the make the flower a cracked glass part without thinking about it dumped a bunch of diamond glaze all over it... this took all day to dry to the point to be trim able and crack-able. ( so, that part is pretty close almost distressed haha) the thing I am seeing interestingly enough is the marker ink seems to be bleeding out yellow under this glue and I don't think I have seen that before. The right before it was time to glue it all together seen the glimpse of gold threads along the left edge so, since this ones a portrait fold I grabbed an old krylon gold leafing pen, which when I was almost around decided to start working really well and blopped a huge amount of paint ( mostly on the scrap under this panel ) and I ended up having to go around it again much wider to balance it out. I do like how it turned out and hope its "close enough" Congratulations Harriet!
ETA: if you cannot see Harriet's card it was done for a dirty challenge a few years back and I didn't realize only fan club members would be able to view it. Sorry.
