...but if she doesn't watch out, she's going to lose her crown!
For this week's tea-party, I actually make it on the day. I have a cat and books, and I added a crown. Not so keen on rats - I had my own cat present me with far too many, but I added a little mouse who's curious to see what Lizzie is so engrossed in. Surely those leather-bound books with gold tooling must be very special indeed .
Base is 5 3/4" sponged with Fired Brick.
Paper is Basic Grey Basics Manilla, sponged with Brushed Corduroy. I cut a page into strips, wove them together and then pulled the ends together in one corner.
Image is Penny Black, stamped on watercolour paper and coloured with distress inks. I used a gold leafing pen for some resist pattern on the carpet, and gold Stickles for the tooling on the books, also the monogram (VR) on the mug of coffee. Oops, no fine china there!! Mouse is part of a Stampendous stamp, and the crown is from Printworks, stamped and embossed with gold.

Oh Sabrina this is a wonderful card~I love your kitties and the mouse is adorable~however I know what you mean~my kitties have given me presents! I love your cool design~great work! TFS
