This birthday card is for my dear friend and fellow birdwatcher. She has a bird feeder in her backyard, so I thought she would appreciate the scene I have created. I earned the Language of Friendship stamp set during Sale-a-bration, but while I was eager to work with the bird stamp, I found the eye and eye patch of the bird unrealistic and they didnÂ’t match up with any bird that I could recognize. After playing with the stamp for a while. I realized that the eye patch could easily be omitted if I inked the stamp with a marker, leaving a great outline for any bird and adding detail that made the bird look realistic.

oh wow, what a great and creative scene. I like how you tried to make the bird more realistic! So creative and fabulous! I'm sure your friend will really love it!
