I'm still having fun playing around with the faux wood after having started out last week with faux denim and going on from there. Today I swiped River Rock, Soft Suede and Chocolate Chip directly onto white paper. I decided to add texture with the Distressed Texturz plate and then swiped some more ink over the top of that texture. I wanted a more elaborate bg since the challenge today was to use a line image that you usually color and stamping it in one color and leaving it at that. I distressed the edges of this panel, crumpled it a bit and sponged the edges and over the top too. I added a burlap string accent (my future son-in-law brought me a GIANT burlap bag that the restaurant he works at gets coffee beans in and I'll have burlap and string for quite some time!) I also distressed and sponged my sentiment and adhered it to a punched coffee sleeve piece.
OOPS, just re-read the challenge....don't send the challenge police after me, but i thought only the image had to be in one color....I made my bg with several inks SORRY!

I don't think the challenge police will come after you, since the background is more like your own DP -- and colors in that is allowed And btw, the wood looks awesome~! Super cool card!
