Hi everyone, I didn't have time all week to get any challenges done~so busy at work and we have been training a new receptionist. So this card was just relaxation for me. http://www.homespunannie.com/
I got the idea for the heart flower from this site.
It was done in fabric. I did email Anne Green and asked if I could use it on my card~she graciously said I could. Her blog is super~I hope you have time to visit her.
The flower was punched with an SU heart punch, glued onto a circle for the base. I used a MS butterfly punch for the center with a peice of crinkled yellow on top. I punched the hearts twice and glue them together for strength. I sponged with tea dye, misted with old lace glimmer, and smeared coffed grounds all over it! Dried in the microwave. Cut two leaves for the polka dot dp. The arrow tag was made with an SU heart punch~which I found on someones blog, but now I can't find it~if I find it I will let you know. The dp is Graphic 45. I also used the new SU doily Sizzlit! Added gingham and hemp twine. Stamped the sentiment, added a punch posy and pearl, added Diamond Glaze to bee's wings. Added corners.
Hope everybody is having a super Saturday. Maybe I will get the energy to get some challenges done tonite or tomarrow. TFL
