the art deco cake with a big flower
This card has been in progress for a while, now. I'd been fiddling with the MS double arches deep edge punch, trying to figure out how to make corners from the border. When I saw the arches on the cake, it brought to mind my little experiment-- Add a flower and a sentiment and done.
The flower was cut from cs that had been embossed with three different folders, making it very distressed, and REALLY hard to pierce.
I layered the arches over another old experiment with crayon resist dry embossing. |
