Michelle(tygerpaws11) is celebrating 7 years of challenges on SCS. She chose the theme of "Denim".
I decided to go back to the roots of this "All-American" fabric. In fact, it was created in France in the 1700's in the textile town of Nimes......hence the name "denim"(de Nimes). I didn't have any "Nimes" images, so I went with a French theme. I've had this piece of denim DP and thought this was a good time to use it.

Beautiful card, that die cut is the perfect accent to your lovely image! And very interesting to learn about the origins of denim, I knew it came from Europe but never knew exactly where.

Great mix of images and color on your panel Sallie and I love the die cut strip! Who would have thought France as the origin of denim...seems true-blue American.
