This card is my second card for the Alphabet Challenge for Letter Ii. It was created for my dad & step-mom who are celebrating today the 3rd anniversary of the day they met. TheyÂ’ve been married for 11 years. Did I get that right? Yes, they met on Leap Year Day. I forgot until today! So, it is going out late.
For the alphabet challenge, I used ink in a new way. I tried the shaving cream technique. It was fun and I like it. I will try it again. Thanks SCS for the tutorial. I wanted to use Island Indigo for the Letter I challenge, but I had to use Taken with Teal to substitute since I donÂ’t have the ink in that color, only the cardstock. My stepmom loves purple so I added the lavender color. For the letter challenge, I added some iridescence with rhinestones. Also, thereÂ’s a word with letter I in the sentiment. Inside, it is stamped Happy Anniversary. I hope you like it. TFL
