Hi there-
Wow: So sorry for the blog craziness last week, we had our Gateway CRASH, and we were left with the decision of either getting another one, or taking the plunge into the Mac world...?
Needless to say, we have joined the very popular community of Mac users...and so far I am very pleased about our decision...
One thing that was a little bit of a pain, was converting all those PC files over-that was a bit tiring to say the least, but now that it's done...We are back in business...
Anyways, I will dive right into to today's post, I have two layouts to share and the 1st is an 8 1/2 x 11 page that I did for my son's preschool, they make scrapbooks for each of the kiddies for the end of the year...it is a very cute project..
I am limited with these pages to card stock & stickers, which gives me the perfect opportunity to use my Cameo...I cut the waves and the palm tree from images I found at the Studio store..
After adding a few sea shell stickers, the title & the date this page was complete.. Super fast!!
note: to add texture to most of my die cuts I used embossing folders or plates, which I did on the coconuts in this layout.
This 2nd layout is 12 x 12, and it's what I came up with for my little girls bday last year. We decided not to have a party and just spend the day doing all the things she loves ( not sure what would have been cheaper honestly, but it was her day..)
I used an image from a Kerri Bradford kit ( All about you) for the title and the rest of the layout, was put together with scraps I had. I took the tip that Nichol uses and cut the title 2x to give it more dimension, and I always love the end result. I cut the title also with white card stock and used my glimmer mists to add the color ( which is why it looks like speckles).. Well, I would love to hear your thoughts? Hope you have a great week...See you soon, I have lots more to share
