I made several of these for my hostesses for their SU wish lists. A bonus for having a party. I give them lots of goodies, but this is the one thing they seem to really love. I used the 3x3 books that I got on supah dupah sale at Wally world. They were PRACTICALLY FREE (.23 cents) - and I have heard they have gone down to .10 cents apiece!
Added my trademark ribbon and rickrack (it's all the rage - right Jenn?)....
I used my su markers and misting on the flowers. Mounted on Basic black. Used Moss craft on the leaves for the background. No need to remove the cover, just stamp right on the book!
These are so simple - even a CHILD could make them! Which makes me think it will be an excellent project for my Brownie scouts and the after school classes I am teaching this year.
So this is my final entry for WT46 - I have a workshop to prep for!!!!
Oh - I totally stole the idea of the squiggly lines from Sweet Miss Daisy. Have you seen Anna's gallery - she is on FIRE!
