Super color combo today! I love ANY shade of green and I think I used a lot of them on this card, lol. Well, I'll admit, when my DH was in the Army, I got a little tired of OD green (short for olive drab, but I referred to it as over dead). At one duty station, even the paneling in our apt was OD green.Yuck! But I've pretty much gotten over it and I'll even use it now.
Anyway, for my shamrock card, I used a mega oval die and the out of the box Nestie technique to cut out the image. I stamped some extra shamrocks and popped them up on top of the originals. Another mega oval was cut out of the sky blue c/s and I attached it behind and down from the image oval. Some little Swarovski crystals were added in the shamrock centers.
I used a Quickutz scallop border to die cut the striped dp and added it down the left side. The sentiment from the image was stamped separately, punched w/ a leaf punch and attached to a die cut round tag. The tag is attached to the scallop strip w/ some twine.
Thanks so much for looking! More pics and details are on my blog: The Write Stuff

This is so fun and very beautiful, Julie - the bright shamrocks and polka dots make a fabulous look...shamrocks never looked so good with those Swarovski crystal centers!
