It's Thursday, and that means it's time for playing along with the CCEE Stampers.
Shirley's challenge for us this week was to make a card with our favourite zoo animal. My stamp supplies don't stretch to either a red panda or a ring-tailed lemur, and I'd already used my koala this month, so it was time to come up with another idea. I made a penguin card but wasn't happy with it, so a return to the drawing board yielded this.
If you'd like to join in and share your favourite zoo animal with us, be sure to link it on the blog .
A2 base.
Grey paper is DCWV Old World, embossed wtih TH woodgrain and sponged with grey and black, black brads added.
Tag - wrinkle free distress; Crushed Olive, Tea Dye, Broken China
Elephant stamped with Versafine Black and coloured with Soot Black, grass and foliage from Kittie Kits, foliage stamped with Forest Moss. I added twine to the tag and some black brads to finish it off.

Fabulous job with your technique, Sabrina. I must try that. The Kittie Kits foliage and grass is just what was needed, too. Love this...super job!

Beautiful work and card, my friend!! I love the gray wood embossing and how you used the Kittie Kits foliage to create your scene. Your wrinkle-free distress looks awesome!

Love so many things about this card! The gray embossed panel - the different colors in your distress background and the foliage - all make a wonderful scene~!
