This is the valentine I plan on giving my husband. I used the new Framelit Heart Die from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I took a piece of card stock that measured 4-1/4" x 11" and folded in half, so it measured 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" and laid the 2nd to the largest die on top, positioning a small part of the die off the folded edge of the card so it wouldn't cut the entire fold line and ran it thru my Big Shot to make the heart shaped card. If I hadn't done it that way, I would have ended up with 2 cut out hearts.
I then used the 3rd largest die from the Framelit Hearts Collection and cut out a heart in Love Letters Designer Series Paper and attached with SNAIL adhesive onto the front of my card. I took some Linen Thread and wrapped it around the front a couple times and tied a bow on a Basic Black Button, attaching it with a Glue Dot. Stamped "Love You" onto Very Vanilla Card Stock and punched it out with the 1" Circle Punch. I punch out a piece of Basic Black Card Stock using the Postage Stamp Punch, and the 1-3/8" Square Punch in Cherry Cobbler. Adhered all 3 of those together and attached to my card with a Stampin' Dimensionals.
Then I used the 3rd largest die and cut out two more hearts for the inside of the card; one in Very Vanilla and one in Basic Black. The left side I punched out a piece of Love Letters Designer Series Paper using the Modern Label Punch and stamped my greeting from the P.S. I Love You stamp set onto Very Vanilla Card Stock. I punched it out using the Word Window Punch and layered onto the DSP. The right side I left plain, so I could write a little message .
