This card is pushing the CAS limit for the CAS156-Hearts challenge, but I couldn't resist. I've posted 3 other cards for this challenge, as I have been working on simple cards as samples for non-stampers at an assisted living facility. This one suddenly popped into my mind and I decided to make it for my DH!
A small doily is folded into quarters, then shaped into a cone. I cut branches using the SU! 2-step bird punch and the Martha Stewart branch punch (sometimes called the fern punch). I have an EK Success double heart punch that punches a small heart, with an even smaller heart in the middle of it. I used the smallest hearts to glue to the ends of the big branches. Then I glued branches and hearts to the inside of both the front and back part of the "cone" and slipped a couple of dimensional squares inside to give them depth.
The corner punch is a slot punch, so I cut white cs to fit inside the slots, mounted the bouquet with ribbon bow attached, and added one small half-pearl at each corner.
Thanks for looking!
