This is for today's sketch challenge, but I decided to keep stretching myself with yesterday's color challenge combo of Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Soft Suede (which were a REAL challenge for me!). I started with the card base...I thought I could soften the brightness by stamping a bg onto the Poppy in Poppy ink. I decided on the bird image for my image panel and added a pop of red with a brad and sponged the edges. I had a ribbon at one point, for the horizontal strip, but was having trouble incorporating the yellow so I ended up punching a lace ribbon strip in the Daffodil. For my tilted panel, I embossed a piece of Suede and sponged over the embossing and edges. I decided to go with a sentiment for my circle element, and liked the look of this scallop one that has some of the same swirls as the embossing, bg and image. The image panel and scallop are popped up on dimensionals. Hope the colors look OK, my DH's computer always looks different than my own!
