This card might appear a "bit bright" but there is a reason! I am sending this card to a friend who is visually impaired, as she can feel the texture and the shape of the bird, as well as detect the bright colours.
A lot of people have stopped sending my friend mail because they assume she cannot appreciate them. I think that is kind of sad.
Using my new Elegant Bird die and my Big Shot, I cut the bird body out of SU paper and the wing out of a recycled gift bag.
I embossed the body of the bird to suggest feathers.
I embossed the purple background with two embossing folders, bordered with the brown ribbon. I affixed this to more SU Island Indigo which was also embossed.
The bird body and the wing are on two, stacked dimensionals.

The texture is great on this one - wow! This is the perfect card for someone who is visually impaired. Impressive thinking!
