I made this card using Pink Paislee's Butterfly Garden dp which I stitched all the way around. The image is a Crafty Secrets scrap that I cut out with a Spellbinder nestie which I ink distressed as well as the card border. It was popped up with dimensionals.
The wood spools were ink distressed and wound with hemp cord. I used Helmar's glue which is exceptionally strong to keep the cording on the spool.
Added a Cloud Nine word stamp, seam binding ribbon, lace, button, waxed string and flowers.
That's it. Hope you like. TFL!

What a sweet card ... I can remember my Mom's old treadle sewing machine like the one in the image ... brings back a lot of memories ... Great card, TFS

I think I need to do more stitching on my cards. You seem to do lots and they are outstanding. Thanks for sharing. This combination of papers and image is so soft and wonderful.
