I needed a winter birthday card, so this is what I came up with using my new Memory Box dies.
The deer and tree dies are cut out twice, using white and Bordering Blue cardstock (textured white for the tree), to create a shadow effect. The deer are on dimensionals.
The snowdrifts are made using an embossing folder by Crafts-Too called Sleigh. I embossed just the snowdrifts twice using two-inch strips of textured white cardstock and then cut them out. The front drift is on dimensionals.
For the sky I brayered the Snowflakes embossing folder with Bordering Blue ink. I love the two-toned effect it created.
DD glitter is added to the leaves on the tree and the edges of the snowdrifts with a glue pen.
The finished size of this card is 5 x 6 1/4 inches.
