This week's Inspiration Challenge featured garden/nature decor website Charleston Gardens and there were so many great items to choose from! But this kids turtle print made me want to try paper piecing, so I broke out my paper scraps and made this kid's birthday card. The scraps are mainly Basic Grey with a few other odds and ends. I added a wiggly eye and drew on a mouth, and layered Mr. T onto a background stamped with leaves, with a brown strip for contrast and to reflect the original piece. The stamped greeting from Stampendous finished the card.

Oh, I know exactly what inspired you, I loved those prints. This is a great take on the turtle and really captures the feel of your inspiration. Great work with all the paper piecing.
