These were finished just in the nick of time to meet my January challenge.
Part of the delay was that I couldn't decide what stamp set or image I wanted to use throughout the year. SU! Dasher? Penguins made from the Owl punch? Both were tempting, along with some others. I finally settled on my new PTI Take a Bough set.
I decided to stick with traditional colors and a typical layout for this set for January, because I was running out of time.
This was my original plan. I stamped the ornament images using Real Red, cut them out with 1/2 and 3/4 inch circle punches, and covered them with Glossy Accents. The problem is that the Glossy Accents changed the Real Red ink to something a lot more orangey than I wanted. So I decided to scrap this idea.

Thanks for sharing the evolution of your design! I find it really interesting to read about other people's thought processes when they go about making their cards. I agree about this card. I like it but your final version is the nicest! TFS
