I peeked at the CAS challenge this morning before heading out on errand #1. Popped into the house briefly before errand #2 and in the few minutes I was there, whipped out this card based on my remembrance of the inspiration photo http://www.whitemountainpuzzles.com/...p?number=654PZ with its blue sky and woods. I know there was a house with reds and the golden retrievers too, but I only had ~15 minutes and pictured a simple layered strip and sentiment card. I took a piece of Early Espresso and ran it through the Big Shot with the Distressed Texturz plate to add the wood grain which I sponged after distressing the edges. I die cut 3 sets of Little Leaves in Always Artichoke and glued those on the lower edge. I added a piece of hemp to the top edge. After putting this together I decided to change the orientation so I flipped so that the strip was vertical and added my vertical sentiment. I labeled this masculine, but it could easily go either way.

You're right, there was blue sky and woods. Love this beautiful blue color and clever idea with the greenery.

I'm totally impressed that you made this in 15 minutes...I'd have been arranging the greenery before deciding where to place it for 15 minutes! : )
It's very pretty, Gail and it speaks of nature to me with the leafy branches and twine!
