I know some of you won't believe this [my sister didn't], but stampercamper's card linked below is what inspired me to create this birthday card for a gentleman in our church.
I can see elements of her card in mine, but my sis thought that I was goofy and that they didn't look anything alike. But, I want to give stampercamper credit for the layout. LOL. I didn't have all the neat tools and stamps that she does, but I made it work with what I have. This all grew out of thread that I started in the Forum about not having enough stamps in my inventory that were "single line" sentiments instead of large phrases. Not wanting to spend anymore money was key. One of Angelnorth's suggestions was to type on the computer, print it out, cut it up and attach to my card, both inside and out. And, that is what I did with this card.

Beverly, your card is so striking! (Design Fairy, don't ya love Carol?) Love your creativity and saving money. Your card is beautiful, and I find that I get more when I have less. (Don't tell Hobby Lobby, or my hubby!) Shh.....
