Today's Ways to Use It Challenge is a fun look back over challenges from the past year. I have WT311 using a Grey base WT315 Ink with Color (no black, white or brown) WT317 Decorative Scissors WT319 Ovalicious WT328 No White Cardstock WT322 Metal WT337 Recycling WT351 Friend of Faux and WT365 My Favorite Things
Among my favorite things are lighthouses and Scripture as well as Neutral tones. I used a Basic Grey base that I inked on the edge and sponged lightly with Night of navy ink. The image and sentiment are stamped on a piece of light grey canvas dp. I used CM Antique decorative scissors for my edges and cut the sentiment in an oval shape. My bg is also on the same light grey dp using the faux letterpress technique by inking up the positive side of the Houndstooth ef with Basic Grey ink before dry embossing. My recycled element is the knotted string on the bottom and the metal is the hardware piece in the upper right. I may have to do another for this challenge as there were so many fun techniques last year!!!

Gail, you sure packed a lot of different techniques into this card! Love the subtle shades of this, those knots along the bottom, and the lovely verse.
