What a timely WT challenge, Michelle! I was mia most of last year and missed so many, many great WT challenges. But this one gives me a great opportunity to catch up.
My card uses 3 of last years WT's, WT330 Doily Deluge, WT348 Space, and WT308 i HEART you. For the doily part, I took one of the red foil hearts, inked it with VersaMark and embossed in Tim Holtz distress pink powder to tone down the shine. Then I tore it into to suggest a broken heart. That created the Space challenge, which was to make something on your card 3-D. I rolled the middle edges back to reveal the sentiment underneath. And the last challenge was to use a heart on your card which brings me back to the doily.
The Kid's Quote sentiment from Inkadinkadoo is one I adored and hadn't had a chance to use it. if you need to fix a BROKEN HEART, friends make the best glue. I added a diecut from one of Kaisercrafts new paper groups across the top.
This card is for a young woman at work who lost her husband unexpectedly. My heart goes out to her and I pray that others will come along side her, not just now, but in the weeks and months ahead.
I am once again reminded the power we have in our art to comfort, nourish, and share lifes' moments, both joyful and sorrowful. Thank you for sticking with me. I would covert your prayers for this young family.

Susan, once again your creativity shows YOUR "heart"...the little torn doily brings to life the thought and love behind the sentiment - love it! I hope and pray what you do, that God will bring a huge wave of comfort to surround them through the terrible loss.

WOW, Susan. What a wonderful card to give to your friend. She will certainly appreciate the thought that was put into it. I love how the sentiment is rising out of the broken heart. Just beautiful!
