I have been praying for snow in the mountains for a quite awhile. This last weekend my prayers were answered. They got around four feet. Now if this stuff were to actually fall in my front yard I might be singing a different tune! hehe.....unless I could teach Rosco Dog to shovel!.....details...
Taylor thanks for the easy sketch today, I was running a bit behind as you can tell this card is "almost" all white! I don't do all white cards! hehe Anyway, I used a QKR Stampede digi, colored with prisma pencils and gamsol blending. Sponged WW on the bottom then white eb for the snow. Drew in extra snow on the top part.
Made a ruler to show the snow depth and added a piece of misc. dp. Layered 2,3,& 4 panels with black cs and flipped the sketch. Added three buttons.
Well, that wraps it up for another day. Hope everyone's day is going well.....TFL :0)

Of course it's all white, it's SNOW! I love the primary colors and the cute buttons, but it's the expression on the dog's face that makes me smile and the way you made a yardstick with that panel - very clever and very cute!

How fun, Cathy. Sounds like there will be fun in the mountains in CA! Your yardstick made me chuckle. Love that woebegone doggie image...he doesn't look to excited about shoveling.

Cathy! How FANTASTIC is this card! I love your take on the sketch and this great image! and - woo hoo- you colored with pencils and gamsol... It's lonely in the pencil and gamsol world... welcome aboard!
this would be the perfect image for us this last week.. we got up to 16 inches of snow. then it started to rain hard.. so most of it is gone.. it stays around just long enough for car repairs:0... none for us luckily.. so watch out what you wish for my friend.. you just may get it!
well... maybe not in your front yard...
I think this is pay backs for sure.. now I am going to do some shopping... (smile)
