I love Beleek! I knew about Beleek when I was very young because my grandmother had a few pieces. I loved the delicacy and translucence of it. I won two pieces (one I can't find, no clue where it is) but I picked up this little swan at Goodwill. I dilly dallied on doing this card because, even though the technique sounded wonderful, I know how I struggle with very pastel, pretty cards. But I did it! It's pretty pale though. I used the shell pink ink on the bottom layer, the green ink on the diecut layer. I had to add some bling to the heart and I think that makes me feel better about it. Gives it some life. Wish I had some of your gifts, girls, when it comes to feminine stuff.

You did a fabulous "pale" card! Beautiful tones of white and cream with the soft touches of pink and green...all to create a beautiful card for both challenges. I love that you included your Belleek swan in the photo.
