Here is my card for today's technique challenge - inspired by Belleek Pottery and today's CAS colour challenge - pretty in pink, certainly celery and white.
I was inspired by the Baskets
I thought the houndstooth folder was the closet I had to the basket weave. I really like the pretty pink flowers surronding the edge of the baskets.
Inked up the EF with River rock ink and ran the pierce of paper through the CB. Matted with tan c/s. Attached the wide pink cross grain ribbon underneath the sheer pink ribbon edged with tiny flower to the C/s. Sewed around outside edge. Cut out one green and one white circle. Stamped sentiment on white circle with river rock ink. Punched out the green leaves, sponged all edges with pretty in pink. Glued on the leaves and attached the flowers with the heart pearl brads. Assembled card.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Patricia, lovely card. Really like that you have a circle that is only partially edged with your beautiful flowers. The ribbon combination is so pretty!
