This week's Ways 2 use it was to have sewing/stitching somewhere on your card. I have never actually used a sewing machine on any card. I have always done "faux stitching". I decided to do the real thing this time, and sew kind of haphazard around the edges. And you know, it is faster doing the real thing The stitching does not show up really clear because the image is popped up.
This is the first time I have used this stamp as well. I loved the saying going up the side "Go confidentily in the direction of your dreams". Can be used for so many different occasions.
This was a fun challenge - made me step out of comfort zone. TFL, and I hope you like it.
P.S. When I first uploaded this card, I could not find the card I cased in honor of this week's FS Linda (aka Holstein). But I found it, so now I can give kudos to Linda. I wanted a simple yet fun layout for this card, hence I chose this card of Linda's to case:
Changed the image, color scheme, moved the knot toward the right side of card, and left off bling but added stitching. Thanks, Linda, for the inspiration. You gallery has always caught my eye ;)
