Today's Way's to Use It challenge is to use faux or real stitching. Lately I've had my sewing machine sitting out, instead of in the closet, so I was able to do actual stitching. I sponged around the oval while still in the die with Cool Caribbean ink and used Spellbinders fancy tags cut in half behind it - these were also sponged while still in the die. The clear dewdrops were colored with copics to match.
This beautiful "blessing" makes me smile for more reasons than one - before I came to live here 26 years ago I had a romantic picture of Ireland - that of fresh rain falling gently on green fields. But I now know why this blessing mentions the wind at your back...most of the time it's blowing huge sheets of dirty rain sideways straight into your face because your umbrella's been blown inside out leaving the wire frame a mangled mess...umbrella's have a short life expectancy here! But I have to add, I love my adopted country which has great beauty and warm, funny, friendly people!

I would have this sitting on a dresser so it could be seen all the time. This is a Beautiful card, Bridget!! Your sewing, as always is flawless and adds so much to the beauty of the overall card! Beautiful soft colors and a wonderful Irish blessing!
