Our cards are going to a young lady named Amy this week. They were supposed to be funny, but Sponge Bob kinda wiped me out last week, so I went more toward peaceful/inspirational.
Covered a Flourishes ivory card front in Distress Antique Linen crackle paint and set it aside. Stamped the Serendipity Provencal Staircase image when the crackles were just starting to appear. Let it finish drying, filled in the weak spots with Copics and added Flower Soft in the flower containers and on the tree. Stamped the ODBD sentiment, circle punched, sponged and added the FS accent. PT - 1
Thank you so much for looking. Have a peaceful day.

Marie, a gorgeous, ethereal card. Nice change from all the Twilight and humor. Awesome sentiment!!

Wow, that's really fantastic with the texture from the Crackle paint and the flower soft. It reminds me so much of a colour-by-numbers painting I once had of an Italian scene, with the same sense of the paintwork faded by bright light.

Good thinking Marie!! Now that Amy is home, and getting some REST now that she is out of the hospital (except for visiting nurses and such) learning how to adjust to meds, etc. I think some peace and inspiration are just what she needs. Thanks for sending Amy your card - I know she will be touched by all the tea potters well wishes!!
