Wow, sometimes knowing someone personally, makes the challenge harder for some reason - Here is the story for this week's teaparty! my card is a mixture of Twilight (which I know NOTHING about,) and a little joke that the family has had for a long time about Amy loving spaghetti and meatballs - the challenge for me was how to tie them together - I was supposed to have this done YESTERDAY for Cindy and I am such a slacker, I just finished it! This is the outside - see the inside here: MMTPT181 for Amy, TSC by irishgreensue at Splitcoaststampers
My card, like Mutnik's, has to be explained, I am afraid! We all knew of Amy's love of Twilight and Edward, how she thinks about him - just like Bella - and how she would love to impress him (That's where the dress came from, first off - I know - it makes no sense at all - read on!) Well, my idea was that Amy figured, "Chuck all that, I will just give him spaghetti and meatballs, and that will work" You see, Amy LOVES spaghetti and meatballs, so in my twisted mind, that means she could win Edward over - Oh well, a poor attempt, but I did try!! Hope she gets a giggle out of the chef showing up with the goods!
Thanks to all for sending cards to cheer her up - she is almost stabilized enough to come home, thank God!! will keep you up to date as I hear more!!

Dark, moody and with Spaghetti and meatballs!! This is a wonderful scene and card for Amy! I love how the border looks like a fence in front of a spooky old house, and of course brooding handsome Edward!
Tough choice, Spaghetti with meatballs or Edward, hmmm...

My experience is certainly that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach even though DH insists he didn't marry me for my cooking. So this card certainly makes me giggle.

So fun Sue! Edward is dreamy and the scenery is so mysterious and then you have the added element of humor - what a great combination. I will be praying for your friend - what a worthy destination. I am off today so I am going to go start on a card now!
