Wow! Congratulations to Linda on being the Featured Stamper this week! Your gallery is amazing Linda! I so wanted to do a black and white card because some of my absolute favorites of Linda's are black and whites. I really wanted to do alot of embossing on this card as well, but after looking through the few embossing folders I had, I thought I had better not get too adventurous. I have a theory that Linda has a separate room in her house just to hold all of her embossing folders....am I right, Linda? Lol! All kidding aside though....Linda has some serious talent. Her cards are always very tailored, clean, and crisp with so many beautiful embossed layers and punched borders that make each one of her cards really something special. After much deliberation in her gallery, I chose this card:
I changed the colors and theme, and flipped the sentiment. I used a SU! three heart punch for all of the hearts....and there were ALOT of hearts...lol! This is going to be my Valentine for my sweet hubbie.
Anyway, I really enjoyed playing along and honoring a fantastic cardmaker. Thank you to Cindy Coutts for a wonderful challenge and Featured Stamper!

Love this card! You may have inspired me to make one myself! One of the things I loved about Linda's galley is her used of simple line embossing (with the Score Pal?). I think that will be an idea I use in the next card I make.

Your hearts are awesome; love how you placed them and the different sizes too! That little bit of embossing is perfect and the bow is tied beautifully! The black cs gives it a nice added touch!
