This is for IC319 and Polyvore was our inspiration site today. Here is a link to the Rhinestone Flower Broach that inspired my card. http://www.polyvore.com/Rhinestone%2...ng?id=48115436 This may be the biggest flower I have ever made on a card and I don't really like it but I had puyt lots of work into it so I am uploading it. Some days are diamonds and some days are stones. It sure didn't turn out like I saw it in my head. I used the SU Blossom punch petals to form my flower. I distressed each petal and glued them down on a punched circle and layered them. I didn't have any red rhinestones so I used a red alcohol marker and colored several clear ones to put in the flower center. I added just a touch of white foliage to soften the big old thing but I don't know that it helped much. I do really like the contrast of the red and white heart punched layers. I should have made something softer and more delicate to fit in the center. My blog: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/

Very pretty card! I like the big flower and I think it looks nice w/the flouishes, centered on the heart bordered circle. The red, heart border square is a nice background for it, as well.

Kittie you are being way too hard on yourself! I think it's beautiful! The big bloom makes a big statement! I love how you colored your rhinestones to match! The border punch and die cut are perfect!

Kittie! your to hard on yourself, this big ole flower as you call it, is very elegant. especially with the contrast of the red and white.
the lacyness of the delicate punched heart border and circle nesty soften it perfectly! I wouldn't change a thing!
