Birthday card for my FIL, who is the best! Pop loves that time on the boat and has had his two sons, and every one of his grandkids and great-grands on it too. To fish with Pop is to learn to appreciate patience. Mo's image was colored with copics and the sky was made by sponging bashful blue over a torn paper towel.
This week I was so happy to see one of my all-time favorite Stampers honored by QFTD. Judy... Her gallery makes you stop- every time! She is blessed with talent, and has the most kind and encouraging heart. Every week I have at least one of her creations added to my favs. To case Judy is quite another thing! Although inspiring, it is totally intimidating to say the least! However, I was fortunate enough to hold this precious card in my own hands when my grandson Jonathan was born last January. Jamie & I were so touched by Judy's work, and the details that make it such a stand out.
Judy, thank you so much for pouring out your talent to paper and sharing with us. I love to study your work, and also to see your heart on paper. Hope your week is the very best. Hugs.....
Thanks for looking!

Oh, my goodness! This is an absolutely beautiful card. Your coloring is phenomenal. You like those trees up dead on. Wow! Your water and sky look so realistic. I like the addition of the fence and the leaves on your ribbon. Your father-in-law should be thrilled to receive this! Just gorgeous!

This is GORGEOUS! WOW!
Love the central image and how it is layered and popped up - then more leaves/clouds behind it!
The fence - and ALL the detail is spectacular!

Oh yes, you are still adding more amazing creations! This is a wonderful scene and perfect for a fisherman. You are so good with doing scene and a master (or should that be master-"ess") at colouring. Love how you carried the branches over to the hi-lighted panel.

Your card turned out so beautiful! I love it! I do have one question, though, the can on the back seat of the boat, is it part of the digi stamp? It looks 3D, did you cut it out and them put use some lift tape to give it that look?

Pat, what a precious card with so much heart - it speaks volumes about the character you created it for and also about your loving character...amazing sky, foilage, trees, and that charming picket fence!!! I'm not that into fishing but your card makes me want to BE THERE! And what a special tribute to Judy!

Art! Your cards are art! I love the three dimensional effects and the scenery carried over in the different layers. You even made the bait special - who can do that?
