Stella kindly gifted me one of her hand made books made from knitting graph paper. She left the cover plain for me to decorate. Wow! I am so thrilled to have received this - she has made such a beautiful job of it. It's a pleasure to hold and seems perfect in every way.
I straight away covered it with a collage and jotted in some text graphs which I felt inspired to knit for another friend. Thank You Stella! I particularly like the lino cut frog which is printed on a leaf inside - her signature symbol.
Collage consists of a screen print of the Mona Lisa knitting and another screen print on a felt patch "Knitter". The words are created using a vintage Labelon Custom Rubber Stamp Kit #14 which I found on eBay years ago. Button stamp by Oxford Impressions from the Cowgirl Blues series and wing stamp by Stampers Anonymous. Deep Down stamp by Acey Deucy.
