I recently watched the great tutorial on SCS for the Herringbone technique and was really excited to try it. For my first 2 cards - I did the technique and cut the piece in half and made 2 cards from it. One was for my best friend and the other was a thank you.
Then I had seen some of the cards in this gallery and really liked the look of using a solid paper to create your initial "lines" and then the DP - so I used Early Espresso as my solid and then Well Worn DP. What a fun masculine birthday card.

Well Worn is my absolute favourite DSP at the moment. Your card turned out absolutely beautifully. Such a masculine take on this technique. I've pink <3 (heart) -ed this one for sure. Thanks for sharing!
