My homework from Day 3 of the online Clean & Simple Cards class. The assignment: find something that inspires you and use that to create a CAS card of your own. I chose this card from Julie Ebersole: http://papertrufflez.typepad.com/pap...play-time.html. I love the fresh look of white embossed ink on kraft, the clean popped-up focal panel, and those bright colors.
To put my spin on it, I changed the stamps and layout (from Clean & Simple Stamping.com). In addition, instead of stamping and coloring flowers directly on the cardstock (not my strong suit), I stamped and embossed two layers of flowers on designer paper, fussy cut them, and placed them on the panel with dimensionals.

This is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time. I am a sucker for white embossing on kraft paper, flowers and cute! Into my faves so I can CASE it at my crafting retreat this weekend. Thanks for sharing your talent.
