I saw a simpler version of this idea on Pinterest earlier this week and decided to make one for my husband for our 1-year "paper" anniversary. I made it much more elaborate than the original idea because I wanted it to be gift-worthy. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's a shadow box, and you write on the glass with a dry-erase marker to leave messages back and forth to each other. I hung it in the hall leading from the garage to the kitchen so he can see it as he comes and goes each day. the "I love you because" letters and the other individual elements are all raised up off the main page with Dimensionals to give it some nice dimension and shadows. I used a piece of coordinating ribbon underneath the frame to secure the marker when not in use. Hope it inspires you!

Thank you! It was fun to make and he really liked it, even though it's kinda girly. The picture really doesn't do it justice as the real colors are a lot richer, it has a lot of layers and the letters are all individually cut out and raised on dimensionals. My customers have really enjoyed it and have asked for a class for Valentine's Day. So it was worth the labor!
