I made 10 of these for the Christmas card challenge 2006. The red is not really so orange in reality. I actually like the color better in the scan. I used the technique from the toothpaste challenge in the Jan VSN and put dabs of ink in toothpaste and raised embossed the Merry Christmas. I lost one of them before assembling so the nineth one has a stamped Happy Holidays.

The toothpaste technique is using toothpaste, drywall or embossing compound with your brass templates to leave a raised embossed image. I've only used them for dry embossing before this challenge. When I mixed the ink with the toothpaste, I had to let it sit forever because it was too wet. Good effect though when I didn't have a stamp
