Embroidery reminds me of my grandma ... when I started thinking about possibilities for my design, I came across some vintage Ideals magazines, which also remind me of my childhood ... sitting at my Gran's house taking in the art on every page ... so I decided to use one of the pictures for my card design.
I added a simple stamped and embossed Hero Arts sentiment and a quick & easy card was complete.

How to cute are these sweet little kitties... What a fun way to make a fast and fantastic card! Adding the sentiment is perfect!
I really enjoyed making a special inspiration card for you Stef, thanks so much for asking me!

Stef, I have fond memories of those Ideals magazines too...especially the Christmas ones. Your card brought back warm thoughts. Your card would please any cat lover and used a cute image to its best advantage.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane with your card and thoughts, Stef! I can be right there with you and thinking of my grandmother and what a skilled seamstress she was! I like the simplicity of your card, perfectly upcycled. Happy New Year

OH I love "IDEALS"!!! We were really poor growing up but somehow my mom acquired an Ideals Magazine one year. I remember looking through it over and over and over!!! What a fun way to recycle too by using a picture like that on your card!
