I have a lot of b/day cards to make this month. I thought I would try to use a new SU in color as I buy them and then am scared to use them. Silly, huh?
Anyway, I used a new nestie I got for Christmas that I think is a new favorite of mine b/c you can sponge around the image plus sponge the outer beads of the nestie; or, in this case, I sprinkled the framing with dazzling diamonds. May not be able to see from photo. In fact, light purples don't photograph very well either, but I tried my best.
I paper pierced the main dp panel, used a sentiment tag which I sponged and a matching bow with a sparkly pearl center. I also used the wisteria wonder dsp for the b/g. I colored the flowers and leaves with 2 coordinating colors, sprinkled just a bit of dazzling diamonds in the center of the flowers and then lightly shined the flowers and leaves up with crystal effects.
That about does it. There are more b/day cards to come soon. Thanks so much for taking a look.

Wow - this is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are really cool and you know how to sponge so well! I so wish you would borrow the jet and come teach me...oh, I forgot... you are on jet restriction after the treats to Santa and teasing a certain someone about her age! I am going to find a tutorial and learn to do it better soon.
You are on a roll with the BD cards - they are all great and it is so refreshing to see an end to the Christmas cards (mine included). I love them, but by Christmas Day, I am sooooo tired of them. I am rethinking my February retreat plans (I was going to make all my Christmas cards for 2012 at the weekend retreat) - I am not sure I will be unsick of them by then. Hugz and glad to see that PT!!!!

This is gorgeous Pamzi. I love those beaded spellbinder die cuts too-just for the reason that you can ink them up so beautifully. Paper piercing has always been one of my favorite embellishments and yours looks perfect. The colors are just exquisite. You are going to be pleasing one happy Birthday person with this lovely card!

Oh, gorgeous lives here! Love the beautiful, soft purple and that gorgeous image. I know you are jumping hoops over getting to do something other than Christmas cards. I'm happy for you. Love your ribbon/bow treatment, too.
Nancy is sooooooooo right, no jet borrowing for you.

Wow this is gorgeous - love the Wisteria Wonder combo. Beautiful job of sponging. I love all the glitter you added (dazzling diamonds ,beads and crystal effects) - they add so much to this gorgeous card. The recipient of this card is one lucky soul.

Wisteria Wonder looks glorious, Pam! I like the nesties shape you chose for your flower, and the pretty ribbon, and dp. It's very feminine and features MY fave color: purple!
Hope all is well with you and the fam. THinking of you!
