Very cool background! I think I saw this technique demonstrated at a rubber stamp show. Is the pallete stamp shaped kind of like a sun with wavy sunbeams?

do you mean a large flat rubber, like you'd use for reverse stamping? (I know it has a name.. but it escapes me!)...do you stamp on that..twisting, then stamp that entire stamp for your image? cool look!!

Bingo! LOL I call it a pallett stamp because I mix all my colors together on it, but you are right it is a large flat stamp.
The stamps ,Tinnalee, mentioned are then used to twist and slide to make shapes. The look was designed by Sandy Obertin. She has been on several tv shows. I am lucky enough to live just an hour from her store. Yippee!!
