I wanted to have some fun card-making and so I thought I'd make a card for my nephew's birthday in early January, and send it off now, so he gets it in time!
I used the sketch today - the medallion in the background is my "circle". I also used these fun bumps from my tasteful trim die.
I distressed it by swiping the ink pad directly on the paper. I also added piercing.
Not sure if I'm thrilled with how this came out, but I think my nephew would like it. I think it might look better in a different color combo.

I think making cards for boys is the hardest of all! You did a wonderful job, Trish!

Trish, what a great card for your nephew. Love the "grey hills" in your band and the medallion worked so well for the circular element. He's sure to love it.

Wow, I'm impressed, Trish, you're way ahead of the game with January birthdays! What a great guy card, I like the way you used a subtle circle for this sketch and double stamped the action figure!
