Today's Free4All challenge was to make a card using winter flowers. I'm sure the most widely-known winter flower is the poinsettia, and here in the sunny South that is no exception. People grow them in their gardens all over Florida. The Sizzix embossing folder is appropriately called Snow Flowers.

Grin, the flower is actually those three little pearls in the centre, so technically they do flower, but we don't buy/grow them for the blooms. I can't imagine what it must be like to see them growing - they're strictly house plants here. Your snow flowers folder is the perfect setting for your beautiful poinsettia.

My word, Lois, what an amazing poinsettia on this elegant Christmas card! I guess I thought poinsettias were somehow just grown in flower shops - never thought about them being grown in real yards and gardens - I have to get out more.
