I find it hard to wrap my head around casing, so most cards that I favourite are simply for their beauty, or because I want to try a technique. So for today's WT I went back to this card of lacyquilter's, which I has saved to try out the Brazen Brilliance technique some time. I like the way Melody stamped in colour on hers - but as I spent most of the day in bed with yet another bad cold, I'm lucky to have made anything at all.
A2 red Bazzill base.
Layers are matt gold card and black paper.
For the image panel I stamped a Hero Arts stamp on glossy card with Brilliance Gold. When it was dry I sponged on several colours of distress inks - Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Walnut Stain.
I stamped a See-D's sentiment with StazOn, and discovered I'd stamped it a bit too high so I added a stamp from ODBD's Flower Frames 2.
Spellbinders Poinsettia die and Foliage cut from scraps.
I've included a detail showing how well the gold shows at a certain angle.

I'm sorry to read that you are ill, again, Sabrina. That be it may, you still managed to make a beautiful card. I'm going to check out that technique; it looks awesome!

Sabrina,
Beautiful and elegant - and gorgeous colors and poinsettia. Oh my gosh, another cold! I hope you beat it quickly and start feeling the holiday spirit soon!
