The WTUI challenge today is to use one of our favorites as inspiration to make a card. Quite a few of Holstein's white on white cards are in my favorites, and that was my original intention, but then I saw this one and found a NEW favorite. Since I'm (still) working on my Christmas cards, I had everything right in front of me, so this actually went together rather quickly. I left off a few layers, but used Linda's layout to get one more of my Christmas cards done.
I've had to cut back on a lot of challenges, and QFTD is one that I've not been able to keep up with, so I'm adding this card to Queen Linda's gallery. My apologies for not honoring you sooner Linda. Apologies too for not being able to do much commenting lately... you'd think that being retired would give me lots of extra time, but that's not the case. LOL

You picked a great card to CASE and I love your version. The sparkly white die cut over the embossed white looks so pretty and the red snowflakes really pop; love your plaid ribbon too!

What a stunning card you saved, and how beautiful yours is using the RED! Black and white is lovely, but, oh! that RED!
