My SIL has a birthday on Christmas and she doesn't like anything to do with poinsettias, so I always try to make sure her card reflects her wishes. I got the idea for this card from one by Maile Belles. The Stampendous rose was stamped with basic brown and colored with fresh snow and artichoke, using the aquapainter. The vellum frame was diecut with Papertrey dies and attached. I like the way the vellum lets the image show through. The Papertrey sentiment was stamped with cherry cobbler, I added a Swarovski crystal and placed the panel on a cherry cobbler card base.

Sue, what a beautiful card for your SIL. I really, really like the effect of the vellum frame. Looks so pretty with the flower image showing thru and thte one rhinestone. I am sure your SIL will love her no poinsettia card. TFS
