Paying homage today to Queen Nancy Littrell, one of my favorite stampers and favorite people, and the focus of this week's Queen for the Day Challenge. This card is a CASEof her Autumn Wishes card: Autumn Wishes by nancy littrell at Splitcoaststampers
I love so many of Nancy's cards that it took me all afternoon to decide which one to case. I finally ended up with one of my all-time favorites (see link above), one that I loved SO MUCH that she finally sent it to me.
I keep telling Nancy that she is so skilled at mixing Designer Papers, something I have great difficulty doing. Mine always looks like a mish-mash. Anyway, in her honor I forced myself to mix patterns. I also combined my Queen for the Day sentiment that I have had for a year and never used--now I know I must have been saving it for this perfect occasion to use it to honor Nancy.
I don't have any flower dies, so I used two different sized scallop circle punches, then used paper snips to cut the petals and shape the ends to points.
I also didn't have any polka dot ribbon that matched, so I used plain brown and put half pearls on it to make it polka dot and add a little bling.
I cut the crown out of burnished gold paper and added little half pearls to it, too.
Hope you like this, your highness. You deserve all the accolades. Thanks to the rest of you for looking.

OMG Judy......so, so gorgeous! This was one of my fav. cards in my gallery too, but yours is even better with your very creative touches. I love your faux daisy flower and faux swiss dot ribbon. They both had me fooled. I had to take a 2nd look (a joy) to see for myself :-)
Your mix of DP's looks great too. Thanks so much Judy for playing and being such an extra special friends since the beginning of our SCS days.
