I knew exactly what card I wanted to make when I read the challenge this morning, but because I had problems getting into the site I couldn't make it till I got back from visiting my aunt.
It's been a wild and windy day today - I saw several twiggy branches being blown down from trees as I walked to my aunts house from the train station - so I've made a spring card .
A2 base, edges sponged with Forest Moss.
Background panel is my WT element. I punched the sakura blossom and die-cut a Sizzix foliage spray and used the negatives to stencil my background, using Forest Moss, Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose. I added some white Liquid Pearls to the blossom centres, and sponged the edges with Forest Moss.
Image panel is made using this weeks tutorial from the Inkling - Faux crazed porcelain. I cut an oval from a piece of an old box and then followed the instructions, using a Kodomo image. It's layered up onto another oval sponged with Tattered Rose and stencilled with Victorian Velvet, and then popped up on foam.
***For my first attempt I hadn't read the instructions carefully enough and just used Versafine black. It stamped fine and didn't smudge when I embossed it, but for some reason small flakes of the crackle paint came loose and rose up in the UTEE. This didn't happen when I tried again and used StazOn - although ideally I shouldn't have used corrugated card as it curled slightly at the edges with the embossing. A learning curve ...***

Beautiful and elegant card, Sabrina! I sure do wish Spring were here and Summer right on its tail! I even love Autumn - just not a fan of Winter! Beautiful image and card!

A Spring card! What a great idea. Winter is not even here yet and I am longing for Spring. Your card is so pretty. I love your faux crazed porcelain. Someday I may try that.

Your faux crazed porcelain looks terrific, Sabrina! Such a pretty spring card. Thanks for the tip on the ink, too, because I plan to try this technique myself.
