The CAS challenge this week is to use twine. I love using baker's twine -- it keeps my cards "mail-friendly".
I tried the faux letterpress technique with my Cuttlebug embossing folder. I have not figured out what ink works best or how to keep the ink off the depressed parts of the folder. I tried several times and decided just to go with a rustic look. I purchased this set of embossing folders thinking I'd never use this one, yet it's the only one I've used so far. Typical!

very cool Jan! the ink looks like wind swirling around the tree... remember "Iowa" winters?! lol What a hoot, reading what you wrote about using the folders... figures... I can identify. So glad you share what you create! It's delightful and so creative!
